For my creative work I built myself a new desk and a shelf. I have been learning woodwork in school and wanted to try my abilities by building a new desk and n shelf. My old desk was getting a little small for me and I wanted to have n shelf where I could put my Legos on. I had the luxury of having my instructor at home who helped me to pick out the right materials.

By building a desk and a shelf I could use my skills that I had learned in school for example: grinding and drilling. The hardest part of building a desk was cutting out and measuring the details. My favorite part was grinding because I am good at that.

My work was constantly judged by my instructor and thanks to that my work came out perfect. Thanks to my instructor at home I got better at woodwork. I find enjoyment from sitting behind my desk that I built and if I need to build myself a desk or a shelf again I believe that I could do it on my own and I would manage my time better.
